Car runs good and is in like new condition inside. Paint has some imperfections.It has rebuilt status and is currently registered and road worthy. It still receives over the air updates so the car will get all upcoming software updates.
It currently has the FSD beta enabled
Because of the salvage title the warranty is void and the vehicle cannot charge on Tesla’s super charger network,they may allow it in the future as they open it up to all EVs. However the car can be DC fast charged on 3rd party chargers (flo, peteocan, shell) with the included CCS adapter.
The only issue remaining is that there is a coolant leak from the octovalve plastic portion…(check out sandy Monroe on YouTube) The part was repaired/patched while waiting for the new component to arrive and lasted for a while. The new part needs to be put in to stop the leak
I was hoping to do this myself with my mechanic but I’m too busy to deal with this at the moment…
There is value to be had here for the right person
And I’m not in a rush to sell at a low ball offer.
If I’m not getting any reasonable offers I’ll put it in storage mode and deal with it at a later time when I’m finished building my house…
I could harvest the batteries and use them for solar power storage.
Another reason I want to sell is that I’m off grid with solar power and the constant energy demand of a Tesla in general will not work for me. It uses a surprising amount of energy sitting there doing”nothing” which is fine for the grid connected person.
